Update of Face the Future’s IFM methodology to ensure future applicability

Face the Future will be updating its VCS methodology VM0005 in order to comply with the new VCS requirements on the timing of emissions from baseline carbon pools.

If the baseline is defined as relogging, it cannot be assumed that instant emissions arise from the wood products and deadwood carbon pools. The current version (1.1) will still be valid to use for forest carbon projects until 30 September 2012.
