Buy Quality Carbon Offsets
Face the Future’s forest carbon projects adhere to the most robust third party certification standards in the industry. Our current projects make use of the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and the Forest Stewardship Council’s certification (FSC). We are currently bringing our projects into Climate Community and Biodiversity (CCB) certification.

Face the Future can offer you 3 ways to mitigate climate change, support local livelihoods and promote biodiversity in forests around the world:

1. Purchase high quality VCS offsets
We have issued Verified Carbon Units (VCS credits) available for purchase from our flagship projects: Borneo (Improved Forest Management – Malaysia) and Kibale National Park (Reforestation – Uganda), amongst others.

2. Fund tree planting in the Kibale National Park to offset your yearly emissions for the next 10 years.
For a one-off fee, we will plant enough trees to meet your yearly offset requirements.  We will plant bio-diverse indigenous trees that will work towards restoring the local ecosystem and provide habitat for endangered biodiversity. Furthermore, the trees you plant will create employment opportunities for local community members.  As the trees you plant begin to absorb CO₂, you periodically receive high quality Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) offsets.

3. Invest Directly in an early-stage Project
Face the Future is currently identifying viable project opportunities that aim to mitigate climate change and improve local livelihoods. We offer the opportunity for organizations to invest directly in these opportunities in order to share in the future social and environmental returns with local communities.

We are currently assessing the feasibility of REDD+, ARR and IFM projects in DRC, Niger, Uganda, Zambia, Peru, Malawi, Tanzania and Ecuador.
